Darkfin Labs is a longevity-focused biotech skincare brand redefining anti-aging and preventative skincare. Every formula is built around L-01™, a proprietary complex of plant grown growth factor peptides inspired by stem cell signaling science — precisely dosed EGF, FGF-2, IGF-1, and supporting enzymes, produced through plant-based protein expression (no animal or human sources).
Darkfin was founded by Annalina Che, a biologist who began her career at a Northwestern stem cell lab studying how skin and hair cells age in relation to stem cell signaling. Drawing on regenerative medicine, she developed a novel peptide combination designed to echo the cell signaling patterns of younger-looking skin.
Our philosophy is simple: maximize function, minimize steps. Modern life is busy, and skincare shouldn't demand a ten-product routine to deliver results. Darkfin builds high-performance, multi-tasking formulas that do more per step — so a streamlined skincare routine can still be a serious one. Fewer products, higher function, no compromise on the science.
Darkfin's research arm, Stemtology, collaborates with Microsoft's AI Co-Innovation Labs and is working toward peer-reviewed publication of the science behind L-01™ — Darkfin's cell-signal inspired peptide platform and core invention.
Our flagship Longevity Protocol Serum + Moisturizer puts that philosophy to work: one daily AM/PM face serum and moisturizer that brings L-01™ together with a full stack of well-studied skin-longevity ingredients — supporting the look of firmer, smoother, more resilient skin, plus visible anti-aging, preventative care, and barrier support, in a single step. Science-backed skincare that holds up to scrutiny — for people who read the ingredient list.
